QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

 

ASEA is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Quality Control Technician to join our team. SUMMARY:

 

The quality control technician will be responsible for inspecting, sampling, and testing products to ensure quality standards are met. This individual will review and verify documents, report deviations, collect samples, inspect in-process materials, and inspect finished product as well as work with the quality team to ensure product meets all quality standards.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Inspect all incoming materials.
  • Sample incoming raw materials.
  • Inspect production line operations.
  • Inspect in-process materials and finished product.
  • Review, verify, and approve quality documents related to production and manufacturing as needed.
  • Verify in-process testing.
  • Approve and oversee reprocessing/relabeling operations.
  • Collect and retain samples including lab samples.
  • Verify necessary cleaning and sanitation is performed.
  • Report deviations/nonconformities to QA
  • Document according to GDP

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent  
  • 1 year of experience in cGMP environment preferred. 
  • 1 year of experience in production preferred.
  • English verbal and written communication required.
  • Ability to work both independently and with team members.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Ability to stand and move around for the entire shift (10 hours+ per day; usual schedule is M-T, 10-hour days, with the future possibility of working Fridays) Frequent and repetitive: bending, crouching, stooping, and reaching throughout entire shift.
  • Ability to work in warehouse condition; limited heating or cooling.
  • Light lifting between 15-35 lbs. may be required.
