Events Manager, Global

ASEA is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Events Manager to join our team. SUMMARY:

In our direct sales business model, we partner with independent distributors (internally called associates) to get the product to individuals. The Events Manager provides dependable support and planning for events and programs that show appreciation for and help educate these associates. This position will focus on preparing materials for events, managing logistics and departmental timelines, and ensuring high-quality recognition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a first point of events contact for associates.
  • Implement event strategy, including operating within standard operational procedures (SOP), budget, and event quality.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with other departments to ensure appropriate communication and project execution flow.
  • Facilitate event registration, analyze event success and associate feedback, and prepare post-event reports.
  • Manage communications with vendors on event-related matters and manage RFP process with hotels and vendors.
  • Assist with aggressively gathering information on each project to achieve quality event productions.
  • Coordinate event needs, including venues, room layouts, food, AV, supplies, travel arrangements, associate materials, etc.
  • Take the lead on different global events and processes.
  • Maintain events budgets, emails, control supplies and swag inventory, and ship event and recognition items.
  • Keep interdepartmental projects on schedule, follow-up on delegated tasks, and respond to executive inquiries.
  • Maintain past and current event itineraries, details on facility usage, expense reports, event correspondence, etc.
  • Build relationships with various vendors and venues.
  • Some international travel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years' events planning, administration, or customer service experience with a proven track-record of successful project management.
  • Experience with Direct Sales, MLM, or Network Marketing industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexible, dependable, and professional.
  • Able to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
