The Commissions Analyst works with the finance department in fulfilling the responsibilities of the ASEA distributor commissions function. Primary responsibilities include reviewing of compensation plans, validating the income plan metrics weekly, and performing appropriate calculations to accurately pay commissioned distributors in multiple markets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work extensively on domestic and international finance issues that support the financial analytics function for a growing multinational company.


  • Manage and audit market-specific regulations, including the development of custom bonuses.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Department in providing reports of significance of structural moves in the Binary or Enrollment Tree'including compensation and rank outcomes over short and long periods of time. 
  • Perform commission reconciliations.
  • Research, calculate, and apply commission adjustments and related payment documents including generating 1099 Forms. 
  • Communicate submission process and deadlines for compensation plan submissions and changes.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding commission pay issues, concerns, and/or questions.
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations to help with compensation issues. 
  • Track and maintain commission payments, Income Plans, and organizational changes.
  • Prepare monthly reports for commissions, providing information as a resource to the executive team through Excel and PDF formats.
  • Work closely with IT vendors and ASEA teams in the validation or creation of compensation changes or new bonuses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field preferred. 
  • 1-3 years financial analysis/BI experience preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of ASEA's Compensation Plan and/or experience in the Direct Sales, MLM, or Network Marketing commission experience is a plus.
  • Strong Excel ability required; SQL Database knowledge is a plus.  
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once while prioritizing adequately.

ASEA corporate offices are currently located in Salt Lake City, but will be relocated to Pleasant Grove, UT (Lehi area) in September 2017.
