THE POSITION:

The Financial Fraud Analyst works with the finance department in monitoring and detecting fraud activity. Primary responsibilities include performing appropriate investigation and reporting to accurately articulate fraud activity and prevention. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work extensively on financial fraud prevention/mitigation while supporting the finance team in a growing multinational company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews customer accounts/orders for the prevention and detection of possible Fraud.
  • Resolve internal inquiries regarding fraud and suspicious activity
  • Verify suspicious activity by reaching out to cardholders.
  • Analyze and evaluate Distributors Organizations for Compensation Plan manipulation.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Department in providing reports and communications for accounts related to patterns or fraudulent activities.
  • Conduct research to assess levels of risk and fraud type.
  • Provide recommendations to address fraud activity.
  • Manage internal fraud tools for optimization of fraud prevention.
  • Aid in the effort of Chargeback mitigation/representment.
  • Prepare and execute proper strategies and responses to drive progress with current cases and investigations.  
  • Support treasury manager with projects and assignments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field preferred. 
  • 1-3 years' experience in fraud, data, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years  Customer Service experience.
  • Thorough understanding of ASEA's Compensation Plan and/or experience in the Direct Sales, MLM, or Network Marketing commission experience a plus.
  • Strong Excel ability required; SQL Database knowledge a plus.
  • Bilingual preferred; Mandarin Chinese or Spanish a plus.
  • High attention to detail and analytical focus.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate field demand.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once while prioritizing adequately.
