JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

ASEA is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our team. SUMMARY:

The Production Artist's primary job is to support the efforts of ASEA's in-house design department. Main responsibilities will be in production, but there will be many opportunities to assist in designing brand identities, print collateral, packaging, editorial, environmental graphics, and websites.

WHAT YOU'LL DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and update marketing collateral in a multitude of mediums.
  • Create social media images and website assets.
  • Print production work including clipping images, format/modify images, stock photo search, fulfilling file requests, etc.
  • Maintain design resource and project libraries, style guides, and templates for production.
  • Assist in prepping and sending files to print vendors, meeting all technical standards.
  • Create presentations, concept proposal prep, and assist in cataloging our portfolio of work.
  • Design for special projects as requested.
  • Assist the Creative Director as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL HAVE - RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • BFA in graphic design, will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of professional design experience.
  • Expert in Adobe CS Programs and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of pre-press and offset printing.
  • Basic knowledge of web design and front-end development.
  • Photography experience a plus.
  • A passion for good design and a commitment to creating informative and engaging visual solutions.
  • The ability to work well with others and understand the importance of collaboration.
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and have a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet deadlines.
